Parent Evenings:
Parents are welcome to come to school to discuss their children at any time. Formal parents evenings are held twice per year but informal discussion can take place at any time as requested by the parent.

Parent Support group:
Parents have always supported the school and many years ago formed a Support Group. This group has raised money and helped school in a variety of ways over the years. All parents are automatically part of this group and are notified of regular meetings and events. A small committee organises events but most parents help and support where possible. Parent/carer toddler group:
A group of parents and carers meet in school on Wednesday mornings. All children under the age of three are welcome to come along to play and socialise. Parents or carers need to stay with the child but can have coffee and conversation! Please contact school for further details. While you are in school give your child’s details to Mrs Grainger or the secretary so that we can notify you of the nursery place available for your child.

Nursery:
Cornhill School has a nursery class staffed by a qualified teacher. Children are eligible for a nursery place in the term following their third birthday. Please contact school for further details.
